Have you ever found yourself contorting into a human pretzel, desperately trying to find a comfortable position in those seemingly torturous college lecture hall seats? Welcome to college! 😉 This struggle goes beyond just trying to fit into cramped spaces, it extends to the lack of inclusivity and comfortability in these educational spaces. The seating arrangements we have on campus often leave students feeling trapped in a one size fits “none” situation. It’s about time we rethink the design of these discomfort-inflicting contraptions pretending to be chairs.

Dilemma	pointing out a problem on campus- Seating in QC’s classrooms are very uncomfortable and aren’t as inclusive for different bodies.
Solution	why this problem is important? and what our solution is: we believe that changing the seating in classrooms is important because it will provide a comfortable and inclusive learning environment for the students at QC.
Canvassing Results	we provided people with a google form in order to see how they felt about QC’s seating (which is linked on this tab). we asked 1) are you happy with our current seating selection? 2) have you ever experienced accessibility issues with QC’s seating before? and 3) do you believe QC would benefit from introducing new seating options? Together we will look at what people on campus said.
